‘Tis the Season for Giving and Sharing….

Wishing one and all a Merry Christmas...

Amidst the frenzy to prepare for Christmas – from looking good  to preparing for the dinners and multiple year-end social gatherings – and of course, the Christmas gift-giving  – the real meaning of the season may quite easily be overlooked.

Though Christmas is of deep religious significance to Christians, to everyone else, it is a festive occasion during which, gift-giving is a joyous tradition. At the end of the day…it boils down to…..

“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” – Mother Teresa

On this note, we wish one and all a Holy and Blessed Christmas…and leave you with this prayer….

A Christmas Prayer

Loving Father,
help us to remember
the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in
the song of the angels,
the gladness of the
shepherds, and the
worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate
and open the door of love
all over the world. Let
kindness come with every
gift & good desires with
every greeting.

Deliver us from evil by the blessing
which Christ brings, &
teach us to be merry with

clear hearts. May the
Christmas morning make
us happy to be Thy children,

& the Christmas evening
bring us to our beds with
grateful thoughts, forgiving
and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake.

by Robert Louis Stevenson
